Responsibility:
• To provide civil, structural and geotechnical planning and design of building projects
• Coordinate with Clients, Consultants, Contractors and Local authorities
• Preparation of construction drawings and design calculation
• Preparation of civil documentation and construction estimates
• Prepare and evaluate technical specifications for foundation designs and construction site plans
• Review and approve engineering design documents for roads, foundations, building and other civil, structural, environmental and geotechnical tasks
• Assist procurement department in running RFPs and managing installation, civil and geotechnical subcontractors
• Assist to select (Civil/Structural/Geotechnical) contractors to support projects and manage their activities to ensure consistent criteria, cost effective designs and timely delivery
• Establish and maintain the civil, structural and geotechnical design criteria to be used on all applicable engineering standards
• Attend design, clients, architects and site meetings
Requirements:
• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Required skills: Esteem, AutoCAD, SCIA, ORION, ETABS, MS Powerpoint, MS Project
• Proficient in both verbal and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in related field
• Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering – Civil/Structural/Construction or equivalent
• Willing to travel to sites
