CIMS (Centralized Information Management System) is CIDB’s online platform launched on July 4, 2017. It simplifies contractor transactions such as license renewals, registrations, and CCD point tracking. Visit here!

Handles the levy payments required under Section 34 or CIDB Act.
3. Training & Courses
Offers a wide range of programs to improve technical skills, management efficiency, and compliance awareness. Courses include Microsoft Office tools, AutoCAD, site supervision, safety, and human resource management.

– Online Banking (FPX): Secure payment via major Malaysian banks
– Credit Card: Accepted for convenience

The Continuous Contractor Development (CCD) program is a mandatory framework aimed at improving the knowledge and competency of contractors.
Categories:
CCD courses are grouped into 12 categories such as Workshop, Seminar, Technical Training, IBS, and Project Management
Point System:
Courses offer between 5 to 40 CCD points depending on duration and depth
Requirement:
40 points annually are required to renew a contractor license. The courses must be approved and listed by CIDB.

– Certified private training centres
– PLBK (Pusat Latihan Bertauliah Kontraktor)
Important:
Not all courses carry the same weight in career development. Select those that genuinely enhance your capacity in handling construction projects.

CIDB Online Renewal Process
Access the CIDB Portal:
Visit http://cimsapp.cidb.gov.my/SMIS/regcontractor/index
Login:
Enter your Username and Password, then click “Log Masuk/Login”
Navigate to Renewal:
Go to “Registration” menu and select “Renew PPK Registration.”
Applicant Details:
When prompted, choose “Yes” to update your details or “No” to proceed without changes.
CCD Points Upload:
Ensure you have the following:
Once you’re sure your have the necessary documents, click the “Add Compulsory Course”
Fill in the programme details that you’ve joined, along with proof of verification document (that will be given 2 – 3 weeks after the course by CIDB) in the “Upload Documents” section
Once completed, click save.
Mandatory Courses
G1 – G3 contractors without technical staff must complete Business Management and Integrity Courses. G4 and above require only the Integrity Course.
Once you have enough CCD points, a button labelled “Save & Continue” will appear. Click it to continue with the application.
Renew Other Certificates:
Tick boxes for SPKK and STB if you wish to renew these along with PPK
SSM Info Check:
Company details are pulled from SSM (If you are from a ROB or ROS company). Ensure the the information provided is correct. If incorrect, update via the SSM website
Fill in All Sections:
– Partners
– Key/Technical/Competent Personnel
– Certifications
– Upload Documents
– Save each sections
Once you are done (or there were no changes in information); Click “Save & Continue” to move on with your application.
Draft Review
Click “Proceed” after verifying draft recommendations. (if any information changes)
Training & CCD Points:
Click “Continue” after verifying the information is up-to-date (or continue if there are no changes)
SPKK Checklist
Follow the instructions and proceed.
Select Renewal Duration:
Choose the number of years for renewal.
Completion notice:
If done right, you will receive a “RENEW PPK REGISTRATION – COMPLETE”. Click “Continue to SPKK Registration Renewal” to proceed.
SPKK/STB Details:
In the SPKK & STB Renewal section, select “No” if you do not want to make any changes and press “Save & Continue”. Select “Yes” if you want to make changes, then save and proceed onto the next step.
If you want to make changes, click “Add New Row” and fill in all the required information. Once you are done, click “Save”. Add as much as necessary.
After you are done with the necessary information, click “Save & Continue”.
You’ve successfully applied, if you want to proceed with STB renewal application, click “Continue to STB Registration Renewal”.
Bank Account Details / Cheque Signature:
Confirm or update banking info or Cheque Information, then click “Continue”.Select “No” if you don’t want to make any changes, then click “Continue”.
Payment:
Click “Print Invoice,” (Top right corner) then either choose FPX, Credit Card, or Counter Payment. After payment, click “Print Receipt”
After you have made the payment and press “Print Receipt”, your payment information will be displayed.
Final Step:
Return to the Home Page.
To track the status information of your application, select “Registration” (Menu on the left). The status will be shown in the “Outbox” (Bottom right).
